Eduardo Elneser is a Senior Management Consultant at Holder Partners with 10 years of experience in global investigations, strategic intelligence, and financial analysis across Latin America, the Caribbean, and the United States. He specializes in reputational and source-of-wealth due diligence, corporate integrity reviews, beneficial ownership mapping, asset searches and collectability assessments, and multi-jurisdictional fund-flow tracing, supporting law firms, financial institutions, corporations, and high-net-worth families in decisions related to disputes, transactions, and counterparty risk. He has also advised family groups on succession planning, asset monetization, and partner search.
Eduardo brings extensive experience in Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing (AML/CFT) compliance. He has designed and implemented risk matrices and methodologies for banks, brokerage houses, cooperatives, and other supervised entities in Panama, conducted independent AML program reviews and BSA/AML assessments in the United States and Latin America, developed portfolio monitoring programs for financial institutions, and delivered compliance training. His financial practice covers business valuations, damages analyses, financial modeling, and forensic accounting. He has led internal fraud investigations, supported FCPA compliance audits and international arbitration matters in the energy sector, and has testified in criminal and civil court proceedings in support of counsel on legal processes and investigations.
Before Holder Partners, Eduardo served as Managing Consultant at J.S. Held LLC in Panama after advancing from Intern to Consultant at Berkeley Research Group LLC in Bogotá and Panama City. He also worked in financial evaluation and control at one of Colombia’s largest infrastructure construction companies, responsible for cash flow forecasting, P&L projections, and budget control across a project portfolio exceeding USD 500 million. He has additionally practiced as an independent consultant in risk management and financial analysis. A civil engineer by training with a Master in Finance, Eduardo combines an engineering foundation with studies in financial markets, data science, and programming, which he applies to financial modeling, data analysis, and the structuring of complex investigative findings. He is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
